CharterClarity

How we work

An explainer and a referral service. Nothing else.

This page is the standard every guide on this site is held to. If a guide ever falls short of it, tell us and we will correct it.

What CharterClarity is

CharterClarity explains how private jet charter works and, when you are ready to price a real trip, refers you to a charter marketplace that can quote it. That is the whole business. We are not a broker, an operator, or a travel agent. We never see your itinerary, never handle payment, and never stand between you and the people flying the aircraft.

Where our information comes from

Everything on this site traces to material we can point at: operator and marketplace published materials, regulatory sources such as the FAA's Part 135 rules (the certification that governs commercial on-demand charter in the United States), and industry data attributed to whoever published it. Nothing is invented, and nothing is presented as first-hand flight experience when it is not.

The numbers rule

No price figure appears on this site without a named source and a date. Charter pricing varies by route, aircraft, season, and even day of the week, so an unsourced number is not a simplification, it is a fabrication. Where honest ranges cannot be sourced, the guide explains the cost drivers instead, so you can read a real quote intelligently. The only real number in chartering is a quote for your specific trip.

How referrals work

Each guide carries exactly one partner link, at the end, clearly marked. If you request quotes through it, the partner pays us a referral fee. You pay nothing extra; the fee comes out of the partner's margin, not your invoice. Referrals never change what a guide says, and a guide that concludes charter is the wrong product for you will say so before the link. The full list of relationships is on the disclosure page.

What we will never do

  • Invent prices, discounts, or availability claims.
  • Imply that any operator endorses this site, or that we certify operators.
  • Present AI-assisted drafting as personal flight experience. Drafting is assisted by software; every guide is reviewed, corrected, and edited by the site's editor before it is published.
  • Put a quote form between you and the answer.
